Which characters are considered INVALID by OneSpan for KBA or Recipient?

0 votes

I have the following text fields in our web interface to be sent to OneSpan

Recipient text:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Title
  • Company

KBA text:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Address
  • City

I can enter any non-alpha character in these fields.
Which non-alpha characters will OneSpan NOT allow for a recipient or for KBA fields

Thank you,

~Clayton

Hi Clayton,

Was the error page displayed when you tried to access the signing ceremony? Was the signer KBA status updated to "INVALID_SIGNER"? Was it different from the normal error message if the KBA data is incorrect?

Because you are developing on on-premise environment, I may not be able to test the exact same environment. However, I believe OneSpan Sign does support non-alpha characters - if you did a quick test with the same package but without KBA setups, you should be able to sign successfully.
