eSigning In-Person on MY Device, How?

0 votes

New user of OneSpan.  In my job, I have to have documents signed by talent. This usually happens in person, on a video shoot.  I have been trying to determine if there is a way to set up template that will allow me to pull up our talent release on my phone, have the talent sign, and save it, without getting into sending emails that they have to pull up on their end and sign on THEIR device.  I would like to keep the process as self-contained as possible.  I set up a template and chose in-person signing, but it still sends the email to my test person asking them to sign and send back.  My goal is a quick and easy process that will also allow me to not carry around a clipboard of papers that I have to bring back to the office and scan.  Thanks in advance.

Hi Shane,

Welcome to OneSpan Sign!

There's an account level setting allows to "Disable sending signing invitation email to recipients within an In-Person esigning transaction".

-If your account has turned on self-served account settings, try to log into your admin's user portal > select "Admin" from top menu > Account Configuration > and you can find it in the setting list (see attachment).

-If you can't find the Account Configuration option, you can contact our support team and have them turn on the feature in your account.

In terms of generating an in-person signing URL, you can refer to my blog here:

I am on a corporate account through OneLogin.  I don't have the option to get to those settings...as far as I can tell.  Attached are my settings as I try to work with the template I have set up.  I have to put in an email on the first page, then when I get to page to it will only allow me to send to the recipient.  I don't mind putting in the signer's email (if I have to) but I would like to just pull up the doc, type in their name at the top and have them click to sign at the bottom.  Then save it and move on to the next person.
