In Person Signing - SMS Authentication & Expiration Date Setting

0 votes
Hello Folks, We are currently evaluating eSignLive and have couple of questions related to specific use cases. 1. Is there support for SMS authentication for In Person signing.? If it is not supported currently, how do you capture the evidence summary unambiguously that 2 separate persons had signed Also is it in your radar and is there any timeline when it would be available? 2, Is it possible to set different expiry dates for different signers within a single package? For ex, we would want to set 10 days for the client to sign, but after the client has signed, only 3 days for the manager to sign. Let me know if you need more details. Appreciate you assistance. Cheers Prahalad

Hey Prahalad, For #1, not at this time, but it is in the project plan. I'm not sure there is a date set for it, yet, but I'll let you know if I find out if it's scheduled. You could always post in the Enhancement Ideas forum about this. The more people that request a feature, the more likely it is to move up in priority and our product managers are constantly looking at that forum for ideas from customers/prospects. For #2, there is also not a way to do this upon package definition. However, you could work around this issue with a particular setup. If you were to have email notifications turned off and handle them yourself with the API/SDK and also set up a callback listener, you could set the original expiration date for the package to what you want it to be for the signer. When they sign, you'd get a notification for a signer completing their signing (after you've subscribed to this notification for your listener), then, you'd pull the package down to DRAFT status, modify the expiration date to 3 days from now, and resend (while also sending a notification to the manager). This is a great idea for an out-of-the-box feature, so you might consider creating a separate post for this in the Enhancement Ideas forum linked above.
