Hi hiren.it,
Thanks for your post! With today's OneSpan Sign, if there's an attachment requirement in a transaction (no matter mandatory or optional), the transaction sender has to perform an additional step in order to approve the uploaded file(s) and to manually mark the transaction as completed.
I don't think there's an out-of-the-box setting to avoid this step, but you can definitely automate this process by setting up a callback listener, listen to the "Transaction attachment" event, then mark transaction as complete with either REST or SDK code.

In that case, I would suggest you to pull the package JSON and loop through all the "roles" > "attachmentRequirements" > check if "status" is "COMPLETE", and only mark complete when all attachments have been uploaded.
On top of that, I just found that the sender can even mark complete when there are remaining required attachments which haven't been uploaded. I will confirm if this is expected and reply back to you.

Just received a feedback and to allow "sender marking complete when required attachment unuploaded" is by designed. Hence to programmatically check if all attachments' status are complete is necessary.
